Things to do in Nashville for New Year’s Eve in 2024

New Year’s Eve is one of my favorite holidays – I LOVE the sequins and champagne, as well as the hope that comes with the new year. But, it can be a lot – and there are so many options to choose from! So, here are things to do in Nashville for New Year’s Eve in 2024 that don’t require you to watch the ball drop downtown with 200,000+ of your closest friends.

*Please note, I’m focusing on parties that will keep you OUT of the downtown fray. So, while there are probably a ton of great parties happening in/around Bicentennial, perhaps check out Nashville Guru for those.

Daytime Events

If you want to celebrate, but staying out past midnight sounds like a punishment – or you have kiddos – there are a few options during the day on NYE.

December 30 – Monkey’s Treehouse: Kid’s NYE Party in Brentwood

Dancing People: Countdown to Noon family dance party at the Cordelle Downtown

Fat Bottom: Slightly Early NYE: balloon drop at 4 pm in the Nations

East Nash Beer Works: Noon Years Eve with family-friendly live music and a noon countdown

Scoreboard: Styx and 70s/80s tribute in Music Valley

Eastside Bowl: Honky Tonk Tuesday bash in Madison

Brooklyn Bowl: Nashville’s Big Bash Watch Party with Parker McCollum in Germantown (honestly, this is probably way too close to the action, but adding it anyway, because it sounds fun)

Nashville Palace: Glow party with the Spazmatics in Music Valley

3rd & Lindsley: Guilty Pleasures 80s Tribute Downtown

Basement East: My So-Called Band 90s Tribute in East
