About

Welcome to the Tip Jar, the Xennial’s guide to Nashville.

While there are a million guides to Nashville, many of them very good (all hail, Nashville Guru!), the Tip Jar is the only one specifically curated for young Gen X’ers and older Millenials – people who still want to have fun, but also want to go to bed at a reasonable hour.

In this guide, you will find tips to making the most of Nashville in your 30s and 40s, as well as the lists Xennials want and need – best coffee shops to actually get work done, best non-Broadway places to hear live music, best diet-friendly restaurants, etc.

You’ll also find guides to the best deals in Nash because no matter the age, who doesn’t want a little extra money to put in the tip jar?

Lastly, the “Day in Music City” guides will give you itineraries for 1-2 days in our amazing city, curated for whoever comes to visit – your mom, your artsy friend, the sports fanatic, and more.

Nashville is an ever changing town, so don’t forget to follow @thetipjarnash on Instagram for up-to-the minute reviews, deals, and extra tips! And if you have a tip for me, drop me a line! I’d love to hear from you.

The Tip Jar Nash is run by me, Sarah Beth – an Xennial. A member of the Oregon Trail Generation. An Elder Millenial, if you will. A Geriatric Millenial, if you must. But, you can call me “X.”

All opinions expressed in this guide are solely mine (and sometimes my friends’). Photos are largely mine (which probably goes without saying; I’m not a great photographer), unless otherwise noted. I welcome any and all suggestions and appreciate you following!
